The Art of Aging

As children, we’re taught how to be successful adults. By contrast, no one teaches us how to age well; and we want to change that.

The Aging Mastery Program (AMP) provides tools and resources designed to improve your health, enhance financial stability, and foster a life full of meaningful connections. AMP is all about feeling better today and staying healthy for the future.

The Workshop

Created by the National Council on Aging (NCOA), the AMP workshops are led by local expert speakers dedicated to their communities. The workshop core curriculum classes include:

  • Navigating Longer Lives: The Basics of Aging Mastery
  • Caregiver Perspectives*
  • Exercise and You
  • Sleep
  • Healthy Eating and Hydration
  • Financial Fitness.
  • Medication Management
  • Advance Planning
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Falls Prevention
  • Community Engagement
  • Caregiver Playbook: Planning, Connecting, and Doing*

Learn more about the specifics of each offering here.

*Being a caregiver is an important role, but one we’re often unprepared for. This is a growing public health issue, so we’ve added two classes to address this head on. Click here to learn more.

The Results

Program results have shown that participants significantly increased their:

Social connectedness: importance of social connections and harm of isolation

Physical activity levels: importance of incorporating physical activity into daily routines

Healthy eating habits: importance of nutrition and improved quality of life

Advanced planning preparedness: navigating the importance of having a “plan”

And so much more. But don’t just take it from us, here’s what participants had to say:

“Thanks to this class I have developed an improved schedule that enhances a healthier balance and commitment to my mental and physical daily routines. These routines are helping me to reduce stress and anxiety while nurturing a better approach to relaxation.”

“There were many things that I took in and changed. I learned something from every presentation.”

“This was an amazing asset that reached my home.”

“The diversity of topics and the abundance of excellent resources in the Aging Mastery Program has set me on a much-improved course for navigating and practicing positive and meaningful lifestyle changes that will contribute greatly to better living and healthier outcomes.”

“I enjoyed the fact that Inclusa seems to care about its caregivers!”

“It was great! Highly recommend to everyone.”

“This is just what I needed – thank you!”

Let’s master the art of aging, together. Join us!
